Sweet-Moderately Hot (6/10) Its sweet hotness lends itself to tender meat, stuffed eggs, cold cuts of meat, mature cheese, schnitzels, burgers and croquettes. A few spoonfuls in a salad make all the difference.

Melosa adds the silent work of the bees on the slopes of the Sierra Morena, and their honey, to Bird’s Eye chilli fermented with Bitter Orange, aged in Sherry Vinegar and Oloroso wine, to create a creamy paste which is both sweet and fiery.

Melosa shares rather more with Sosegada than the aged origins of its ingredients, creating a delicious cream to spread on meat, accompany gratinéed or deep-fried food or… let your imagination take flight.
